Traverse the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, home to a dense concentration of wildlife, before venturing into the heart of the Serengeti—famed for its open savannahs and predator action.
Adding a scenic twist, your journey continues to the remote and otherworldly shores of Lake Natron, where flamingos nest and volcanic peaks rise dramatically in the background. Here, you’ll hike sacred landscapes and witness a quieter, spiritual side of Tanzania. Your adventure begins early with a pick-up from the airport or your chosen location in Arusha. After a brief safari orientation, you’ll depart with packed lunch boxes towards Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival at the park gate, entry formalities will be completed before and enjoy a full day game drive amidst herd of Elephants and baobab trees among other wildlife in the park. picninc breakfast and proceed with afternoon safari. After breakfast and check-out, depart with packed lunch boxes for a full-day cultural and scenic excursion to Lake Eyasi. On arrival, spend the day engaging with the local Hadzabe and Datoga communities—among the last remaining hunter-gatherer and traditional blacksmith groups in East Africa. Around midday, enjoy lunch under the shade of acacia trees before continuing to explore the lakeshore or participate in village activities. Enjoy breakfast, check out, and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunches. Upon arrival at the park gate, complete the necessary entry formalities before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the late morning on a game drive through this unique UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to an incredibly dense population of wildlife. Around midday, stop at a designated picnic site for lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, exit the crater and continue the journey to Serengeti National Park. Following an early breakfast, set out with packed lunches for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. Spend the day exploring the park’s vast plains and river systems, known for hosting large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and numerous predators including lions and cheetahs. Later, head out for a guided hike along the shores of Lake Natron, a surreal landscape known for its red-tinged waters and flamingo flocks. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
